Frequently asked questions
- What's the difference between ASCII and Unicode tables?
- ASCII tables use characters such as +, - and | for borders. Unicode tables use box-drawing characters. You can switch between them in the Plain Text format settings.
- Why does my pasted table look misaligned?
- Use a monospaced font to keep the columns aligned. In Markdown, put the table in a fenced code block to preserve its spacing.
- Can I limit the table width?
- Set Max line width or Max cell width in the format settings. Long cell text wraps to fit the limit you choose.
