What is Table Editor

Table Editor is a program that runs in your browser and makes it possible to create data tables.

Tables are very versatile, and can be used in many contextes. Maybe you need a table for your Master's Thesis? maybe you need to present your top music chart for a friend? The Table Editor is here to help!

The tables can be outputted in a variety of formattes, from Latex to SQL. We recommend you to read the documentation for how to use the outputted text in your chosen language.

Where are my data stored?

Your data is saved in your browser, and only there. If you loose your data, you can't ask us to recover them, because the table data has never touched our servers.

For those of you who are interested, data in JSON and using the LocalStorage API.

Shortcut to move column and row changed from Ctrl+arrow to Ctrl+Shift+arrow to avoid collision with standard Ctrl+arrow functionality.
When moving columns, the text-alignment is also moved.
F1 now opens the help dialog.
New table clears the note.
Fixed bug in plain text export.
Icons in file open/save-as dialogs.
Removed some dependencies.

Setting for outputting width in Balsamiq.

Possible to add a note to a table. You'll find the feature in the Table menu. Great for table-sharing! (thanks Vaibhav)
Output and input options are now persistant.
Table size was wrong when importing HTML.
Possible to have the caption on the top of the table when using Latex.
Ctrl + arrow keys now sets focus correctly.
Minor style tweaking.
